NY.com Contest Rules
- No purchase necessary. Sweepstakes open to residents of the United States and Canada who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited by law. Employees, contractors, and directors (and their immediate families and those living in their same households) of Imar.com and any of their respective affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible. By participating, entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules.
- Online entries must be received by 11:59 PM EST on September 20th, 2001. Limit: One entry per person (or e-mail address). If multiple entries are received from any person or e-mail address, all such subsequent entries will be disqualified. Imar.com is not responsible for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections, miscommunications, failed phone or computer hardware or software or telephone transmissions or technical failures, garbled transmissions or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electronic. No copies, facsimiles or mechanical reproductions will be accepted. By entering our sweepstakes by email you authorize us to keep you informed of any new sweepstakes or changes in our site.
- Drawing: Names will be chosen at random, from all eligible entries received. The decisions of NY.COM are final and binding in all matters relating to this sweepstakes. Winners will be notified by telephone and/or e-mail.
- Prizes: Winners must respond within 24 hours of notification or the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be assigned.
- General conditions: Winners agree Imar.com, its affiliate companies, parents, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents will have no liability whatsoever, and will be held harmless by winner, for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the prize, or participation in this sweepstakes. Except where legally prohibited, by accepting prize, winner grants permission, and those acting under its authority to use his/her name, photograph, voice and/or likeness, for advertising and/or publicity purposes without additional compensation. Imar.com reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, or suspend the Internet portion of this sweepstakes should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of Imar.com, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness, or proper play of the sweepstakes.
- Internet: If for any reason the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Imar.com which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this sweepstakes, Imar.com reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes. Imar.com assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Imar.com is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by NY.COM on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer related to for resulting from participation or downloading any Materials in this sweepstakes.
