The Morgan LibraryThe Morgan Library is both a museum and a center for scholarly research. Among the world's greatest treasuries of seminal artistic, literary, musical, and historical works, the Library's renowned collection of rare books, manuscripts, and drawings have as their principal focus the history, art, and literature of Western civilization from the Middle Ages to the twentieth century. Changing exhibitions, drawn from the permanent collection and from other museums and libraries in this country and abroad, provide visitors access to some of the Western world's most significant cultural artifacts.
